Hello, I am yukicole02, Yuki, a 24 year old African American digital artist with a background in graphic design, video editing and motion graphics, and a minor in animation.

I have been on DeviantArt since 2011 and my art journey is pretty decently documented through my scraps as for the most part I have tried not to delete or store most things.

I have a love for character design and story telling which I try to explore through character creation and my own story telling. I love webcomics, anime, and v-tubers as well as other creative content creation and I tend to get pretty invested.

For the most part I am an OC artist who dabbles in fanart, mostly of vtubers.

A year in review 2022 [Final]

Silly me I almost forgot to make this very important end of the year post that's not even going to be that long. There is no year in review of 2022 cause in truth I didn't actually pay to much attention to art progress even though there was quite a bit. I started doing these during the start of an arguably dark time in my life that just got worse and last year I put a close to that chapter of my life so with that in mind I decided to just stop doing these. I don't feel the need to publicly look back on anything. There's no one to say fuck off to. To show I am doing perfectly fine and I am trying to grow. I'm just simply happy being me and doing my silly art sketches an continuing on with my life. Plus DA is a cluster fuck and I can be assed to post here consistently anymore so there's also that so the gauge at which I used to measure my art progress through posts is no longer there. I'll still be around on DA but I'm more active and annoying on twitter. Sometimes I post sketches.

My art isn't authorized to be used for AI and it never will be. Don't fucking use it. It's pretty shitty for DA not to make it the default option. No one has the time to go through all their posts and click that stupid button. I'm not doing that. Don't use my art for AI.
